Construction

I personally carve each piece by hand, starting with thick, solid wood .  After the background is carved down, the work on the design can begin.   Carving is never glued on.   All door and cabinet construction employs the highest standards,  including mortise and tenon joints.

DESIGN

I personally hand carved every piece on this site. They are all my original designs.

To get the design process started you can email me a description of what you have in mind along with any inspiration pictures you may have.. I will provide an estimated cost for your project. If the cost is acceptable I will make a few sketches of various designs for you to consider.
Design work is complimentary after an order is placed, or a custom design is $150 with no obligation to order.

ORDERING

The ordering process is fun and easy. The cost for custom  wood carving is determined by the complexity of design.  As a one-person shop with twenty-eight years of experience I can create custom designs within a certain budget.  Being more complex does automatically make a carving more beautiful.
A firm price is quoted prior to start.
A one-half deposit is required to secure your schedule and the balance is due prior to shipping.
You will be provided a photograph of your completed  project prior to final invoicing.
